The face behind The Getaway Collection — my corner of the internet where I share stories about the incredible places I’ve been.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, I packed my bags and spent three months traveling through Europe, visiting 17 countries.

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that that trip changed everything — it was when I fell in love with travel and started the new goal of visiting as many countries as possible.

Fast-forward to 2025, I have been to 29 countries and wanted to share those adventures to inspire others to create their own unforgettable getaways. From solo traveling to the remote villages around Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, spending 24 hours in Paris because that was all I could afford, to planning annual girl trips with my mom and friends.
